She delivers infants and performs surgeries at The Woman's Hospital of Texas.Dr. Steele grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and became a highly touted track and field high school athlete. While earning a coveted track scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, she received honorary distinctions as a scholar-athlete & monogram award winner. She then graduated with a degree in psychology and pre-professional studies.Dr. Steele received her 2009 medical degree from the University of Kansas. Biography: Dr. Adrian Harvey Mass is an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician with Houston Women's Care Associates. She was born and raised near Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. She went on to attend Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, and earned her MD. She continued on with Loyola for an additional year of training in general surgery, before fleeing the cold weather of the north for Texas. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Harvey Mass sees all obstetrical and gynecologic issues, but her special interests include sexual health, adolescent gynecology, contraception including IUDs, and caring for moms and babies during pregnancy.Dr. Harvey Mass and her husband are now proud to call Houston home, and are enjoying raising their 2 sons here. Biography: Dr. Ricardo R. Gonzalez is an internationally-recognized expert in minimally-invasive treatments for voiding dysfunction. For men, he is an expert in surgical therapies for BPH, including GreenLight laser vaporization of the prostate, enucleation (HoLEP and GreenLEP), Rezum, Urolift, Aquablation and others. He currently holds a Center of Excellence Certification for both GreenLight and Rezum. He has been invited to teach laser surgery throughout the U.S. and in 17 foreign countries. His research includes the development and evaluation of minimally invasive treatments that improve voiding function in men while preserving sexual function. His focus also encompasses the evaluation and management in urinary incontinence and pelvic floor reconstruction and functional restoration in women. His goal is to provide state-of-the-art urologic care to improve patients’ quality of life, especially with urinary and sexual quality of life. Dr. Gonzalez was the former Medical Director for the Centers for Voiding Dysfunction and Clinical Research at Houston Metro Urology. He has joined the full-time academic faculty at Houston Methodist Hospital with faculty affiliations at Weil Cornell and Baylor College of Medicine. He is a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Cornell in New York City. Biography: Dr. Joy Peveto is a Dallas area native, born and raised in Irving, Texas. She decided to be a doctor at eight years old. She therefore received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude and then returned to the Metroplex where she received her Medical Degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. After graduation, she ventured across town for residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. Biography: Jami J. Barnard, M.D., received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and her medical degree from the Texas Tech University Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, in El Paso, Texas. She is a licensed OB/GYN who was twice awarded “Outstanding Teaching Resident” and has been a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society since 2012.An active volunteer in the community, Dr. Barnard's interests include educating women on preventative healthcare, providing care at various health fairs and clinics and instructing childbirth education classes. She is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the author of multiple publications on a wide range of women's health issues.Dr. Barnard enjoys exploring her new home of San Antonio with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include backpacking, traveling and spending time outdoors.

Biography: Elisa F. Carroll is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Carroll earned her medical degree from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. After completing a fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center, she successfully completed a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Carroll was Chief Obstetrics and Gynecology resident for the academic year 98-99. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. She then graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine with honors, and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Kurian was elected as chief resident and was voted one of 2004 Berlex Laboratories Best Second-year Teaching Residents. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, completed in December 2008. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Kurian has a special interest in routine and high-risk obstetrics, annual gynecologic exams, abnormal Pap smear evaluations, contraception, and gynecologic surgery. She enjoys caring for women of all ages, and can help her patients from puberty to peri-menopause.She is certified in Da Vinci minimally invasive robotic surgery and can perform many in-office procedures, including endometrial ablations, diagnostic hysteroscopy, and excision procedures for cervical dysplasia.She and her husband are the proud parents to two boys, Noah and Lucas. A Charleston, West Virginia native, she graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University before earning her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Tovo’s residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas was marked by awards in achievement including the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Southern Gynecologic Assembly and the Joseph Warren Award for Resident Excellence.Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Tovo is dedicated to providing comprehensive women’s health care including contraceptive management, high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive pelvic surgery, and menopause. Dr. Suris earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and served as Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical Center Hospital. He has a special interest in urogynecology, the discipline dedicated to helping women overcome loss of bladder control.Dr. Suris is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Bexar County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Suris is married and has three children.
