Biography: <p>Rena Azar, MD received her degree in 1998 from Michigan State University. She has been practicing Gynecology for 19 years. She decided to pursue her career in gynecology because she love women's health care and loves surgery. She lives in Ooltewah, Tn. with her 5 children. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, painting and cooking. &nbsp;</p>

Care Philosophy: We believe that each patient is unique and so are her needs. We understand that no two pregnancies, gynecological problems or women are alike. Our patients are given individualized attention.

Biography: Michael Numnum, MD, was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he received his bachelor of science degree in biological sciences. After his undergraduate training, he attended medical school in Birmingham, Ala. at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After completing a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Birmingham in 2005, Dr. Numnum went on to complete a three year fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Alabama Hospital.During his residency and fellowship, Dr Numnum received numerous honors and awards including the 2006 Department of Surgery Resident Research Award for his work in gene therapy in ovarian cancer.
