Care Philosophy: I came into medicine with a passion for reproductive justice and health equity. This means that I work to bring excellent care to all who walk through my door from teenagers learning about their changing bodies, to women managing the symptoms of menopause, from those navigating the exciting world of pregnancy to people catching up on preventative care. I believe that your life is about so much more than your reproductive health; our bodies affect our quality of life significantly and we all deserve high quality healthcare in order to live our best, most complete lives for ourselves and for our loved ones. Biography: <p>Damon Cobb, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Damon Cobb OB/GYN, his private practice in Poway, California. He serves women from all over the San Diego area, listening intently to each of their needs and preferences throughout treatment. Dr. Cobb specializes in both medicated and non-medicated childbirth. Each new mother has unique expectations and goals for her birth plan, and he works tirelessly to meet or exceed all of them.</p> <p>Dr. Cobb received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating, he moved to St. Louis for his residency training at St. John's Mercy Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where he attained extensive training in body cosmetics.</p> <p>Today, Dr. Cobb works hard to make sure that each of his patients is healthy and happy at each stage of life. He offers fertility treatment, IUD insertions, hysterectomies, and other services promoting women's reproductive health. Additionally, he wants to make sure that each woman is confident in her own skin. He uses his extensive training to also offer cosmetic procedures, such as SculpSure&reg;, a noninvasive body contouring treatment that eliminates excess skin and fat.</p> <p>Dr. Cobb is currently accepting new and returning patients.</p>
